About Nippi

Quality First

Since its foundation, Nippi has been focused on providing the highest-quality products from advanced production technology to operational expertise. “Quality First” has been our corporate philosophy for more than 100 years. This focus on quality starts with the careful selection of the highest-grade raw materials to the strict implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the respect of ISO 9001 standards. Quality depends on multiple factors that all need to be satisfied before a product can be released.

Quality Management

We are committed to continuous improvement and have a Quality Management System that provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance. Our internal procedures are reviewed regularly and are made available to all employees. Nippi operates process-oriented quality management systems with common elements that apply across the company and other elements tailored to the requirements of individual business sectors. Continuous improvement and sharing best practices are the principles underlying these systems.

Nippi recognizes and acknowledges its responsibility for food safety. During the manufacture of our active ingredients our company places the highest priority on the safety and health of our products and, as such, places the highest emphasis on ensuring that each product is in compliance with current industry standards.

The management of Nippi maintains an integrated management system, complying with ISO 9001 standards as well as HACCP. As a manufacturer for the life science industry, Nippi is fully committed to the Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) comprising internal GMP policies as well as local law and international guidelines adopted by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Not All Collagen Peptides Are Created Equal

At Nippi North America we specialize in marine-source collagen. TruMarine™ Collagen is composed of collagen peptides extracted from the scales and skin of fish through advanced production technologies built on Nippi’s 100 years of experience in research and development.

The production process begins with the careful selection of fish species, with Nippi taking the greatest care in selecting high-quality raw materials. Collagen peptides are then extracted from this natural fish source through a proprietary enzymatic process to ensure TruMarine high bioavailability and bioactivivity in the body.

During this process the molecular bonds between individual collagen strands are broken down to obtain an extracted collagen with a lower molecular weight that will later be sterilized, dried and sieved. No harsh chemicals or solvents are used in the extraction and manufacturing process. This unique proprietary and patented process results in a soluble and digestible natural product for effective health and nutrition applications.
